This year, actress and Emmy-winning host Tabitha Brown was honored with the Vanguard Award for her groundbreaking contributions to the entertainment industry. Journalist and NAACP Image Award-nominated host Gia Peppers also made a statement in a silk ensemble, pairing a white iridescent top with orange silk trousers and nude embellished sandals.
