The Mielle Organics ‘Beauty Con’ booth at the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans offered a vibrant and immersive experience for hair enthusiasts, showcasing creativity and innovation.
Founder Monique Rodriguez, a familiar face at Essence Fest, returned with an even bigger and better pop-up shop this year. The event featured personalized beauty insights, celebrity appearances, and interactive experiences that highlighted the brand’s popular products.
Throughout the weekend, the former RN-turned-CEO made a statement with her fashion choices. She stunned in a black and white Dolce & Gabbana polka dot mini dress and later turned heads in a striking fuchsia pink Bronx & Banco lace runway look.
Rapper and songwriter Lady London also made an appearance, and Fashion Bomb correspondent Sheek caught up with her to discuss her outfit. The New York native sported a Dsquared choker, a top by African designer Kwame Adusei, and Rene Caovilla shoes.
In contrast to Lady London’s monochrome look, singer Letoya Luckett brightened the scene in a multicolored Cynthia Rowley dress paired with clear yellow pumps. Fashion Bomb’s CEO also embraced a glamorous aesthetic at the Mielle pop-up, wearing a nude sequined Staud dress and her signature finger waves while enjoying the festivities with Luckett, Lance Gross, and other notable guests.
The event was a celebration of beauty, style, and culture, bringing together influencers and fans alike to experience the world of Mielle Organics.
