Place Vendôme transformed into a breathtaking spectacle on Sunday as Vogue World: Paris brought together the best of modern and historical Parisian fashion in a dazzling showcase.
Vogue World is a grand live event that celebrates the magazine’s cultural impact, drawing celebrities and influencers into an immersive experience filled with unforgettable performances. As the event kicked off, Vogue’s Global Editorial Director and Condé Nast’s Chief Content Officer, Anna Wintour, stood poised in a floral Chanel maxi dress, her signature bob completing the look.
With the 2024 Summer Olympics approaching, the show seamlessly blended sports into its performances, featuring gymnastics, tennis, fencing, and cycling, all choreographed by the renowned Parris Goebel. The energy was electric, with Creative Director Teyana Taylor delivering a powerful performance. Dressed in a striking Paco Rabanne metal-embellished gown, she commanded the stage, while her backup dancers, dressed as fencers, added an unexpected and dynamic twist.
Ciara, who recently welcomed her third child, Amora Princess Wilson, in December, also took the stage in a custom Givenchy ensemble. Her gold sequined bodysuit, paired with a flowing lime green chiffon cape and skirt, shimmered under the clear blue sky, creating a mesmerizing effect.
In contrast to Ciara’s vibrant look, Katy Perry made a bold statement in a 3D black and blush Noir Kei Ninomiya dress, an intricate and avant-garde creation that felt refreshingly modern.
The event was a true celebration of fashion, sport, and Parisian elegance, with countless stars showcasing their most iconic looks.
